Adult students enrolled in the Shorter College bachelor’s degree program choose an area of study in which they will earn their degree, and are also required to complete general studies courses that supplement their continuing education. Bachelor of Science in Business AdministrationDegree Description The BSBA degree program is designed for the business student, and consists of a core of 48 Semester Credit Hours. This core includes courses in accounting, marketing, economics, law, business communications, statistics, leadership and management. Bachelor of Science in EducationDegree Description Shorter’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Early Childhood Education is designed to help working adults gain the skills, understanding, knowledge, and practical experience they need to become successful credentialed teachers at the P-5 level. Bachelor of Science in Human Services ManagementDegree Description By studying the developmental process in human behavior, students pursuing the Bachelor of Science with a major in Human Services degree will be able to use diagnostic skills to analyze human behavior. BSHS students will focus on global and domestic problems. They will be prepared to understand the ethical and legal responsibilities of their profession, and they also will be prepared for graduate work. Bachelor of Science in ManagementDegree Description The BSM degree program is designed for the undergraduate level management student, and consists of a core of 48 Semester Credit Hours.
